Thank you to my neighbors who have supported and welcomed me at their homes on my walks. I have not asked any group or individual to endorse me. I just ask for your vote. The people who are voting for me are: your neighbors, parents, empty nesters, and folks who recently moved here. They are part of the 12,500 people that make this town great. I've knocked on your doors and talked to you about your concerns and hopes for our town. There are so many more issues out there in which, as a commissioner, we can make a real difference for the residents of Haddonfield. A vote for Bill Shanahan is a vote for our community. As a resident of Haddonfield for over 23 years, Bill and his wife, Shannon, have raised their two great kids here. They are the beneficiaries of a nationally recognized school system from K-12.

As commissioner, Bill wants to ensure Haddonfield public schools maintain their ranking so new generations can experience the same high level of education his children did.

To improve safety within our town I would like to implement a public security awareness campaign based on the Look Up Speak Up model. This would be done in conjunction with the county, and funds should be available through the county to pay for it.

The Look Up Speak Up model will allow residents to report suspicious behavior to a hotline manned by the 911 communications center, which would pass this information along to the local police. It would cut down on lag times for notification, and allow the proper authorities to be aware of any activity.

Additionally, this will also allow residents to report behavior quickly, without having to determine if a crime is being committed. Residents can send the tip in, and let the law enforcement professionals decide what action to take.

Our residents deserve to feel safe in the community we live in, and Look Up Speak Up will assist with that. Learn more about my campaign through the link in bio
